Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level computer-based management entrance test. The test is conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

CMAT Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • The applicant must be a graduate.

CMAT Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2018

CMAT exam is conducted in computer-based mode. The total duration of the exam is three hours. It is divided into four sections.

As far as the marking scheme is concerned, the candidates are awarded 4 marks for every correct answer, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. The total number of questions asked in the exam is 100 (25 questions in each section) and the maximum marks are 400.

CMAT Admit Card 2018

The admit card for CMAT 2018 exam will be released in the month of January 2018. The admit card is issued to those candidates who successfully register for the exam and meet the eligibility criteria. The admit card is an important document that every candidate needs to carry to the examination center. CMAT admit card will be released online and the candidates will be required to download it. A link to access the admit card will be made available on this page as soon as the admit card is released by AICTE. T

CMAT Result 2018


Given blow some information regarding CMAT Result 2018:

The result of CMAT 2018 exam will be available in the month of February 2018. AICTE will release the scorecard online and the candidates will be required to download and print it. The candidates will be able to check the result by logging in to their accounts using their login credentials. The scorecards will furnish the total as well as the sectional scores of the candidates. Apart from the scorecard, All India Merit List will also be published by AICTE.

CMAT Merit List 2018


All India Merit List is announced by AICTE on the basis of the last year score obtained by the candidates in CMAT exam.


The Merit List mentions the following details –

CMAT Cutoff 2018CMAT scores are accepted by over 1000 AICTE-approved institutes across the country. After the announcement of the result, these institutes release their individual cutoff scores. Depending on their percentile and the cutoff marks of various institutes, the candidates can seek admission in these institutes. The candidates who meet the cutoff criteria are invited for the next rounds that comprise, Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). .CMAT Merit List 2018All India Merit List is announced by AICTE on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in CMAT exam. The Merit List mentions the following details –

CMAT Participating Institutes 2018CMAT scores are accepted by over 1000 AICTE-approved institutes that offer MBA, PGDM, and other management programmes. These include both government and private institutes. These institutes release their individual cutoff scores. The candidates who meet these cutoffs marks are eligible for the next rounds. National Institute of Technology (Durgapur), Birla Institute of Technology (Mesra), Jaipuria Institute of Management (Lucknow), Institute of Rural Management (Jaipur), KIIT School of Management (Bhubaneswar) are some of the well-known institutes where the candidates can seek admission on the basis of CMAT 2018 scores.

CMAT made 2 category for  Fee payment (i) General (ii) SC/ST/PD
Test fees for General and OBC candidates is Rs 1400 + Bank charges, while for SC/ST/PD candidates it is Rs 700 + Bank charges.
“Test Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances,” informed an official notification.

Payment Process


You can do the payment in either of the two modes mentioned below:


Mode i) ONLINE PAYMENT: You can select ONLINE PAYMENT mode and then do the payment using a Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking Once your payment is successfully done, you will receive a confirmation E-mail and SMS. Once you have received the successful payment confirmation, you can proceed with the remaining part of registration process.
Mode ii) CASH PAYMENT IN SBI BANK: You can select this option to pay by CASH at any of the designated SBI bank branch. Once you select this option and proceed, you will see a CHALLAN on your screen with your details already filled in it. You need to take 3 PRINT OUTS of this CHALLAN, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies, and walk in to your nearest SBI bank branch with CASH on the next day of generation of Challan.
